Like previous seasons, NBC drags out the finale over two nights. The Voice season 23 two part finale airs on NBC Monday May 22 at 8 pm ET/PT. The winner will be announced on part two airing Tuesday May 23 at 9 pm ET/PT.

Blake Shelton surprised fans of “The Voice” by announcing that he will be leaving the singing competition show after its upcoming 23rd season. On Tuesday, the country music superstar revealed in a…
The new performances from each aspiring artist have new opportunities on this platform this season.
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23,” Shelton said in an October 2022 statement. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people; you are the best.”
He continued, “It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week. I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson and every single one my fellow Coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers–the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their Coach. Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these Artists, us Coaches, and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams. It would not happen without you!”
4 hours ago They both are among my favourites in the competition, and they both continued to show me why. Not everyone can pull off a Whitney song, but Cait sounded so good and was especially flourishing during that second half of the performance. On the other end, Kala really brought emotion to her song, you could see she was really just getting lost in the performance, and she sounded phenomenal the entire time. Both were just really great performances at the end of the day.
4 hours ago Wow. What can I say other than both Cait and Kala did an amazing job. Cait you took on a Whitney Houston song and brought the emotion and range that she gave. You also brought yourself into it with those beautiful intonations that make you such a great singer. Kala you are a MASTERFUL storyteller and have one of the most unique tones I’ve heard. Every time I hear you sing a song I feel like you wrote it, it’s truly a spectacular gift to have. This is going to be a really hard one for Kelly. Regardless, I’m so proud to be on this season with you both! #Season23

The artist is denied access to a particular coach by another coach. It is selfish to deny a person any chance to gain success. Simple and to the point. Why do producers figure this is helpful to any contestant?
Put yourself in the contestant’s shoes for a moment. Ask yourself, yes you are on the show but you really want * as your coach. Maybe it will disappear when Blake finishes this season.
