Recap Week 2 Battles Voice UK 2021 videos

Each coach will cut their teams in half by setting their artists against one another in a series of music duels which only one act can win. Recap Week 2 Battles Voice UK 2021 videos.

This is the final round of battles this series. There are some good acts on show this week. Coach’s decide who stays and who leaves.

Following this episode we move to the semi finals when each coach teams up with a mentor guest coach.

More over, each coach has a ‘steal’, allowing them to save an artist one of their rivals for their own team.

Battle round aired from 8:30PM Saturday, February 27 on ITV.

Last week all three four chair turn winners appeared

Benjamin Haycock and Jeremy Levif – Team and Lauren Drew – Team Anne-Marie. Do they all progress?

No four chair turn winners this week. Olly has kept his steal for this group.

Team Olly

Grace Holden vs Chantelle Padden

Team Olly: Grace Holden and Chantelle Padden perform.

Grace Holden, 18 years of age, appeared in the fourth iteration of the season as the closing act. She sang “Wherever You Will Go” and Olly was the only coach to turn. Lucky Olly!

Chantelle Padden, 24 years old, appeared in the sixth episode of this series also the final act. She sang “When I Look at You” for Olly and Will to turn. She chose Olly.

Olly has produced some good battles so far this season with his song choices. Tonight’s Song: Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway.

This battle opens the show with a close battle between them. Grace’s dad saying ‘you know she’s watching you don’t you’

@graceholden16 moves to the semi-finals.


Andrew Bateup vs Matt Croke

Team Olly: Matt Croke and Andrew Bateup perform.

Andrew Bateup, 31, appeared in episode five as act six on the night. He auditioned with “How Am I Suppose to Live Without You” which won turns from Sir Tom and Olly.

Matt Croke, 33, auditioned with “Come What May” in episode two this season as the seventh act of the night. Olly was the only coach to turn. Tonight’s Song: Jon Bon Jovi – Always.

Seventh battle shown “west-end singers battle” too much shouting and breathing issues…while other called it the best! A rock opera? Go figure. Olly chose Andrew!

Team Will

Janel Antoneshia vs Okulaja

Team Will: Janel Antoneshia and Okulaja perform.

Janel Antoneshia age 27, audition aired in episode 3 this season singing “Love & Hate.” Both Olly and will turned for her performance. She chose will.
James Okulaja age 17, appeared in the opening episode on 2 January 2021. He auditioned with”Everything I Wanted” and will was the only coach to turn. Song: Nas and Lauryn Hill – If I Ruled The World
Second pairing to air tonight with will stating he would actually buy that! Janel advanced to the semi-final with her combination of rap and vocal.


Victoria Heath vs Adenike

Team Will: Adenike and Victoria Heath perform.

Victoria Heath 37 years of age, appeared in episode five of the auditions. She auditioned with “One” and will was the only coach to turn.

Adenike Adewale, 28, also appeared in the same episode. She auditioned with “Get Here” and was will’s coach by turning his chair. Song: Whitney Houston – Run To You

Final battle from his team…will chose Adenike. Hard luck Victoria many of your fans expressed support for you.

Team Anne-Marie

Meg Birch vs Jason Hayles

Team Anne-Marie: Jason Hayles and Meg Birch perform.

Meg Birch, 25 years old, auditioned as act 1 in episode six this season. She sang “If I Go” with both Tom and Ann-Marie turning their chairs.

Jason Hayles, 34, auditioned with “No Church In the Wind” and appeared in episode five. Annie-Marie blocked Olly. Song: Jess Glynne and Macklemore – These Days

Their harmonies are good with Meg’s powerhouse vocal. Meg advanced. Olly steals Jason, and justice is served.

Craig Eddie vs James Robb

Team Anne-Marie: Craig Eddie and James Robb perform

Craig Eddie is 22 years old, he auditioned appeared in episode 7 as act number 5 and sang “Make It Rain” which drove Olly nuts because his team was full.
James Robb, 27, audition appeared in episode four as act 4 and he sang “Shape of My Heart.” Olly lost his pitching to Anne-Marie.
Song: Sam Fischer – This City

Sixth battle shown tonight with this song … with Craig advancing. Hard luck to James.

Cameron Ledwidge vs Leona Jorgenson

Team Anne-Marie: Cameron Ledwidge and Leona Jorgenson perform.

Cameron Ledwidge, 18, sang “Heather” with his audition airing in episode 5. One chair turn.

Leona Jorgenson, 26, audition in episode two as act 4. She sang “Sunflower” for a one chair response.

Leona advanced to the semi-final and Anne-Marie’s last battle decision. Sigh of relief!

Team Tom Jones

Esther Cole vs Mide

Team Will: Esther Cole and Mide perform.

Esther Cole, 21, audition aired in episode 2 this season as act 3. She sang “Let Me Down Slowly” with Sir Tom winning over Olly as her coach choice.

Mide, 33, appeared in episode four as the 5th act of the night. Sir Tom was the only coach to turn for him. Song: Bastille – Happier.

Third battle tonight shown with Mide advancing and Esther leaving the show. No steals.

Jake O’Neill vs Wura @GoldAbimbola3


Team Sir Tom: Jake O’Neill and Wura perform.

Jake O’Neill 23, auditioned with “I Want Love” appearing in episode 4 this season. Tom loved him enough to turn.

Wura Abimbola, 31, auditioned with “Strange” in episode 3. Tom loved her also.

Fifth battle to air tonight and no steal was remaining.  Wura showcases her baritone voice…her tone stands out. She advanced to the semi-final.


Mariam Davina vs Psalm Harmony


Mariam Davina, 18, was the first act to appear this season. She auditioned with “Anyone.” Three coaches turned for her. Anne-Marie and Olly lost their pitches.

Psalm Harmony auditioned in episode six as act 5. The trio sang “Spirit” for the praise and turn of Tom.

Final battle for this season featured these acts. Hard to pick between four vocals…three are in one group…some say its unfair…usually the soloists win. A future as a group…one suggestion. Like several other earlier acts…this and previous seasons. Mariam was Tom’s choice and advanced. Hard luck girls…keep at it.
