*Kymberli Joye (The Middle – Zedd, Maren Morris, & Grey) vs. Zaxai ( Cruisin by Smokey Robinson ) vs. Natasia Greycloud (Tennessee Whiskey – Chris Stapleton) – STOLEN BY BLAKE
*Cody Ray Raymond dropped out of the competition for unknown reasons, forcing Kelly to put together a three-way battle with two winners.
Yes, three is a hoot, three times the Mariah Carey vocab from three acts. Did I mention that they all talked about MC! Kelly wants the other odd number to be stolen, good plan Kelly. Natasia revisited her journey from JHud to Kelly…then to Blake. Yes, she has another pitstop on the journey, funny enough the more teams the act can be on, the more variety of coaching mentoring etc..
Mariah enjoyed the bluesy song choice…Kelly wants her to break into the big voice. Mariah, the ooooh falsetto ending was added! Producers at work.
Kymberli’s journey included being a background singer, she had moved to a pop song with a gospel background. Mariah claimed she really is a musical person. WTH Kelly, so much control. Mariah was happy to see the beginning of their journey. Zaxai, the third wheel in this three-person Knockout. Smokey Robinson and his father’s music roots…he was on JHud but lost the battle, step in Kelly. Mariah wanted him to put his artistry in the forefront. Do not hold back! Mariah won a red Team Kelly jacket, the excitement was off the chain, they shared a hug!
Blake throughout the steal notion, he said he had already planned it out….fake Blake! Ha!
Kelly chose Kymberli and Zaxai!
