Contestants expect plenty of male country singers to audition for Blake’s final rodeo. Unconfirmed, several auditions from experienced contestants from other reality shows and this one. If they come back to this show they are usually looking for extra exposure to further their career. For example, Allegra Miles appeared on this show and then appeared on American Idol last season. Season 23 should be a great finale for Shelton supported by Clarkson and the two cohorts. Beyond is clearly in NBC’s hands. Will Carson Daly leave with Shelton as well?
Clarkson can claim she won her singing competition over Horan in the promos or teasers this season.

- Less live shows or no live shows in other words all pre-recorded.

What does the future hold for the US edition?
Here we speculate about the future of this edition. One possible outcome regarding Blake leaving The Voice USA edition reverting to a ten-contestant (artist) team. For example, the United Kingdom and Australian versions cut the live shows reducing the total number of episodes. Consequently, reducing the season time and the show production costs.
In addition, some fans are speculating about the return of the four-way knockout. One new alternative is the introduction called “The Callback” round. Following the blind auditions in the above two editions, the production brings back all the artists for a callback session.

Callback definition
- The act or an instance of calling back from one location or situation to the previous one.
- A second or follow-up audition, especially as one of a set of such auditions for a role in a play or in this case a singing competition.
In the current UK edition production utilized callbacks, only one singer from each group can be chosen to go through to the semifinal. The callbacks round was featured for the first time, see link below, Each coach (production) placed three or four contestants into a small group. The notable change is the immediate reduction of each coach’s team from ten to three.
Alternately, in the Australian edition, twelve acts per team followed the blind auditions. That revealed 48 placeholders, then twenty acts were eliminated in the callback process. Each coach was able to select any act and immediately advance them into the semi-finals on the team. One coach in fact advanced two into the final callback elimination. Overall, a Top 8 (two acts per coach team) was announced for the Battle Buddies. In the semi-finals, one was eliminated and then the remaining four (one per team) performed in the finale.
Winner Selection Production
Both editions were prerecorded, in other words, no live shows were aired. The audience voted at the end of the semi-final i.e. in Australia, back in May 2022, and in the United Kingdom.

“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from ‘The Voice’ after Season 23,” he said. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at ‘The Voice’ from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.”
He joked that it takes plenty of “adult beverages” to successfully film two live shows per week.
Shelton continued, “ I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson and every single one my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shout out to the singers — the ‘Voices’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach.”
“Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at ‘The Voice’ chasing their dreams. It wouldn’t happen without you!”

Fans are speculating why Blake has decided to win. We have our theories including contract issues, commitment issues, time to move on, return to full-time touring, and other reasons. We think it is fair to say it will be the end of a great experience for him and his many fans. There will be a huge gap to fill on the show. It could even be the end of the show.
