SUNDAY Rita and Jess teams

In progress hit refresh to reveal new information…

Team Jess

Jess advanced her youngest singer, Jael, into the next round. No singing required by the 16-year-old. Then came the singoff between Finnian vs Faith!

He sang “I Climb Every Mountain”

She sang “Ain’t No Way”

Jess chose…Faith. Good luck Finnian… keep the dream going, mate. He knew it was hers as soon as she opened her mouth!

Faith vs Emily-Jane, both four chair winners, Faith won the battlepass… “I Am Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston.

Jess chose Faith over Emily-Jane.

Jael vs Richard sing ‘Thriller’ by MJ. Two different performers…in many aspects, a reprise for each of them.

Jess chose…Jael.

Finnian vs Kaylee with “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. Both are aware that they have tough competition, which is a compliment to both. Hated the arrangement by the band, which drowned out both vocals. Kaylee had more of the emotion while Fin tried to keep up. Keith reminded us all and favoured Kaylee. Rita wanted more fight and gravitated towards Finnian. Kaylee was effortless and knew where to shine. Jess talked about his tone and storytelling ability.

Jess chose Finnian…End of the road for Kaylee.

Team Rita

Lachie, Xanthe, and Robbie were the final three. Rita immediately advanced Xanthe to the semi-finals. The sing off was between…Robbie and Lachie!

Robbie sang “Break Even” by The Script

Lachie sang “I Guess I am In Love” by Clinton Kane

Rita had to choose between both artists…and the one with the ‘edge’ was…. Lachie! Hard luck Robbie and ride a few winners mate. Keep up the singing as well.

Robbie vs Elle and Sienna (all girl duo)

Rita showed her technical advice was a master class for this pairing. Robbie offered to give 200 percent because he is against two vocals. “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus was the song.

Rita chose Robbie over Elle and Sienna.

Xanthe vs Liam and a pairing of the youngest with this pairing.

“Don’t Speak” by No Doubt, which Xanthe did not know, Rita chose a unique arrangement to showcase their talents. Producer Rita is on the show tonight.

Rita chose Xanthe for the winner of this battle.

Lachie vs. Theoni

During the blinds, she was obsessed with him. He was not sure he was happy to see her. Rita laughs about choosing this pairing, calling it “dumb” and half of us agree without the LOLs. “It Will Be Ok” by Shawn Mendes. Focus on the storytelling for him and Theoni has to focus on the lyrics…tapping into the pain! She is fair to them both during the vt. Best battle of the night! Incredible!

Rita was emotional about this result, so no doubt about her conviction. Lachie won. End of the road for Theoni. “Go off sister” and open those doors Theoni!

*Spoiler alert unconfirmed information

These spoilers are from one source therefore remain speculative…do your own research online.

The three images appear to support the following theories/outcomes…

*Robbie won via a singoff performing ‘Breakeven’ by The Script

*Lachie won singing ‘I Guess I’m in Love’ by Clinton Kane.

*Finnian won by singing ‘You Are the Reason.’

They eliminated Kaylee today! Watch for the social media backlash towards Channel 7 Australia and production.

If correct…using the above information, Theoni did not make it through. In addition, Xanthe got the fast pass on Team Rita.

As what if to consider is Rita following Guy Sebastian’s lead by breaking the so-called rules, she may have sent both Lachie and Theoni to the sing offs.

Theoni is out.

Robbie Dolan – Breakeven

Lachie Gill – I Guess I’m In Love

Faith Sosene – Ain’t No Way
